Our day....

OK for some reason this morning when I woke up I had this gnawing urge to go to Target. No I haven't been talking to Maggie. My first thought should have been - Financial Freedom but it wasn't. For those that don't know about this I will fill ya'll in later. My second thought should have been how could I go to Target with the girls by myself. That was a fleeting thought. All I knew is I wanted to go and I needed to go by myself with the girls. I guess I needed to prove something to myself.

So off we go. I put Mary Elizabeth in her wheelchair, Michala in the buggy and Marlee Anne helps pulls. She was such a big help and she was so proud. It was really a fun time. I was too busy pushing and pulling to even notice the stares from people. Several people laughed and commented on us. Glad to make someone's day brighter. We did have a really nice conversation with a mom and her two girls.

After that we headed to Mike's office for a little while. Marlee Anne has to take everyone presents when we go. She handed all those out and then we headed home. It was a really nice day.

Casola/King crop

Ya'll remember the incident at McDonald's. Well we had a fundraiser on Friday night for the families that have suffered through all this. Last week we began setting up and getting everything into place. Without some wonderful volunteers and a great team this never would have happened. With those people along with about 60 croppers we had great success. We raised $3555.

The crop went really well I think. Not too many problems and it seemed to go real smooth. We had some wonderful vendors there. Lots of great food and terrific fellowship. I will post pictures when I get them.

Thanks Disney Scarppers!!!

No that's not a misprint. They really are Disney scarppers. They are some of the most amazing people in the world too. Today when the UPS man brought a huge Creative Memories box to the door I was so excited cause I knew it was another donation for our fundraiser crop this weekend. I was about to go out the door to the church to set up some more so I opened it real quick to see what it was. When I got the box opened and looked in I saw two huge, filled to the rim, red Mickey Creative Memories albums. The one on top had a sticky with Michala's name on it. I opened it and it took my breath away. I closed the box and had to leave it. I knew that I would not be able to pull myself away nor would I be in any condition to set up after crying the tears I knew were going to come.

As soon as I got home I sat down with the two albums. The other one had Mary Elizabeth's name on it. These were albums made by my dear friends who are Disney Scarppers. They were made for Mary Elizabeth & Michala's Make A Wish trips. Words cannot describe the feelings I had and have about these books. They are truly priceless. The pages are amazing in themselves but the money, time and especially the love that went into these pages it's unreal. Never will I find the words to tell these ladies just how much this means to me.

Mike was shocked that someone we have never met in person would go to this much trouble for us. It is overwhelming! I cannot wait to share the books with ya'll. I will try to start taking pictures of the pages as I go along so ya'll can see them.

Thanks again to my wonderful and dear friends!!! Mickey is so proud of ya'll!!!
